Barbera
Taking its name from the eponymous grape and with its alcohol content around an ideal 14%, it’s the romantic wine.
From the first sip, you sense its evocative side, which speaks of our fiery sunsets, of the infinite colours of our hills in autumn, of late nights with friends over a glass.
When you open the bottle, watch the wine emerge, full-bodied and intense with a definite ruby red shade when young, tending to garnet red with ageing.
Smell it: it brings to your nostrils a delicate scent, a delicious contrast to its round, wild flavour. -
Dolcetto
Created from the dolcetto grape, whose name hints at its sweetish taste (for “dolce” means sweet in italian), this wine is approachable and appreciated even by not experts. Its alcohol level is from 12 to 14%. It’s the ideal dinner wine, light but far from mediocre, everyday but never undervalued.
It emerges joyously from the bottle, showing its ruby red colour tending to violet, with a fruity, distinct nose; its taste is harmonious and balanced, with a very light acidity and almond and berry notes. -
Nebbiolo
It’s the less-pretentious relative of barolo, both born of the same varietal, the nebbiolo grape.
Its ideal alcohol level is around 14%.
It’s a vain wine, keeping you waiting as it ages in oak barrels for at least one year, preparing to amaze you with its uncompromising intensity.
Pouring it into the glass, its tremendous body is obvious: ruby-red, it’s the ideal match for decisive flavours.
Its nose is elegant and majestic, unmistakable from the first sip.
Its flavours embrace the whole palate, full and very typical, with underwood and geranium notes. -
LANGHE ROSSESE BIANCO
The Roxeise wine, an old white grape variety, belongs to the indigenous varieties of Ligurian and Piedmont origins. In the past, many medium-high Langa farms had some of these rows of vines. Almost after disappearing, in the early 1990s, a small experimental production started in the municipalities of Sinio, Roddino and Monforte d’Alba.
This wine gets his name from its white berries which became slightly pink when reaching their full ripeness. It has a balanced composition, a fruity scent with notes of green apple and citrus, golden color and an alcoholic degree of about 12-13 degrees.
